Meat Pies

A British and subsequent South African tradition.
A selection of hand held meat, chicken and vegetarian pies as well as sausage rolls are available.

These take about 15-18 minutes to bake in the oven, so why not call ahead your order so we can get your pie in the oven. Call (904) 746 7993

Served as is, or enjoy with our Nando’s Peri-Peri sauce – a hot sauce from South Africa

Not all flavours are available all of the time, and we do like to rotate options whilst doing our best to keep the most popular flavours on hand.

 

Shepherd’s pie

Ground Angus beef, onions, carrots, onions and buttered potatoes

 

Cornish Pasty

Slow roasted cubed steak, onions, potatoes, rutabaga and spices. think of
it as beef stew wrapped in a puff pastry

 

Steak, Bacon and Ale

Black Angus beef and bacon simmered in Smithwick's Original Irish Ale

Steak and Mushroom

Black Angus steak, with button mushrooms and a creamy Merlot-based sauce

Pepper Steak

Made in a creamy red wine sauce, and packed with flavor with a slight kick
from the cracked black pepper.

Boerewors Sausage Roll

Traditional South African Beef and Pork sausage wrapped and baked
in flaky puff pastry

 

Chicken and Mushroom

Tender Chicken in a creamy white wine and mushroom sauce

Spicy Chicken and Chorizo

Roasted chicken and Spanish chorizo sausage in a spicy white wine and South African Peri-Peri (hot) sauce

Spinach and Feta Pie

Spinach and feta in a creamy garlic sauce

Vegetable Curry Pie

A creamy mild curry that is packed with carrots, cauliflower, green beans, potatoes and chickpeas. The flavor and richness is complimented with a slight sweetness with a South African fruit chutney in a tomato based curry sauce.
